Rafe

He was paid to end Asa's life. Now he'll kill to keep him alive.

Rafe has never pretended to be a good man. He takes the money, does the job, and never looks back. Asa Trent was supposed to be one more contract. Then Rafe finds him tied to a chair in a warehouse, broken by men who want answers he doesn't have, and when Rafe puts the gun to Asa's head, he can't pull the trigger.

Asa did four years for killing the stepfather who kept him chained, and he was taken before he'd made it a mile from the prison gate. Now he's hidden in a house on the edge of the Oregon coast with the man who was paid to end him. He should be terrified. Instead, after a lifetime of nobody wanting him, he's starving for the touch of a dangerous man who never takes more than Asa is willing to give, and Rafe's need to keep him close is turning into something he can't control.

Someone still wants Asa dead, and Rafe will hunt down every one of them without losing a minute's sleep.

The only thing that scares him is Asa walking away when it's over.

Rafe is a dark M/M romantic suspense featuring an obsessed assassin, a touch-starved ex-con, forced proximity, hurt/comfort, an age gap, Christmas in hiding, and a killer who'll burn the world down before he lets anyone take what's his.
